Are you looking for a rewarding school based administrative role as part of our team supporting children with Special Educational Needs (SEN)?

We are seeking to recruit an enthusiastic SEN and Safeguarding Officer to provide and deliver administration support for the SEND and inclusion team to ensure the effective support of identified students.

You will be required to liaise and work closely with external agencies as necessary to collate documents and set up meetings. A strong commitment to working with others in a collaborative way is therefore essential. Our ideal candidate will have strong administrative/organisational skills and a methodical approach to gathering, recording and reporting in order to succeed in this demanding area of work. You will also have experience of working with young people within an education setting and knowledge of SEN issues and practices would be an advantage.

Esher High School is an excellent, high performing School and is proud to be part of Enlighten Learning Trust (ELT). We aim to equip our students with the skills to grow into confident, ambitious and responsible citizens ready to face the challenges of the adult world.  Our staff are passionate about seeing young people succeed in their subject.

A comprehensive induction programme is provided for all new staff. Staff benefits include a 2 week autumn half term break, LGPS pension scheme, staff wellbeing group, staff association, free gym use and ample on-site parking.

Please refer to the Recruitment Pack for further details regarding this role and how to apply. We welcome early applications and will consider holding interviews and appointing before the closing date for strong candidates.

Closing Date:   Monday June 5 @ 8.00 am

Interviews to be held later that week
