We are looking to recruit an HLTA into our Academy to start in January 2023
Full Time 32.5 Hours a week
This post is a cover-teacher and interventions role, 8:30am – 3:30pm everyday,
39 weeks per year including inset days on a permanent contract.
Salary Range: Kite pay scale Tier 3 £19,978 - £26,052 FTE (£15,374 - £20,049 pro-rata) depending on experience.
We are looking to appoint an HLTA who:
- is highly motivated to support all children with their learning across Key Stage 1/2, enabling them to make progress and fulfil their potential.
- has experience of classroom support, working with children who have special needs
- has a wider interest in working with children, in a pastoral role
- has experience of covering lessons across key stage 1/2
You should have:
- Good levels of literacy and numeracy (GCSE Maths and English grade C or equivalent)
- HLTA or learning support qualification welcomed but not essential, or a willingness to undertake appropriate training (support will be provided)
- a high degree of initiative and sound judgement when working with children
- a focus on learning outcomes and progression for all children
